Sharjah24: The Sharjah Police General Command, represented by the Governance Department of the Strategy and Performance Development Department, organised an introductory workshop on the system of governance and enterprise risk management in the Central Region Police Department, as part of its annual plan to spread culture, which included a series of workshops that were implemented over the past period for all organisational units in leadership,

Captain Khalfan Hamid Al Abdouli, Director of the Governance Systems Development Branch in the Strategy and Performance Development Department, indicated that spreading the culture of governance and applying its concepts ensures enhancing the level of maturity of its concept among the target group, which is the main objective of organising this series of workshops.

During the workshop, he presented a number of main themes, foremost of which are the concept of governance, the principles of governance and the general framework for governance that ensures the quality of institutional performance and contributes to achieving its objectives in a sound manner, with a set of laws, organisational structures, and various work systems.
