Sharjah24: Dr. Jamal Yousef Al Zarouni, supervisor of mosque care and cleanliness, in the office of Islamic Affairs Department in the Central Region, confirmed that the Department pays great attention to caring for mosques in the Central Region, through cleaning and sterilization operations.

He explained in statements to "Sharjah 24": that the 170 mosques in the central region are cleaned twice a day, in addition to sterilization operations that are twice a month, in the context of maintaining the safety and health of worshipers.

Al Zarouni pointed out that the cleaning and sterilization operations include mosques, outdoor areas and squares, in addition to the mosque's facilities such as lighthouses and toilets.
