Sharjah24 : As part of its plans to develop protection and care policies, Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD) charts out to hold the 13th Social Service Conference, under the slogan "Partnerships that achieve protection".
The conference will be launched from 25 to 26 of May at Al Jawaher Hall for Events and Conferences in Sharjah. The conference is being held under the generous patronage of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Emirati and Arab personalities and leaders participate in its activities.

Building on this, Maha Mansour Al Ali, Director of Government Communications at the department, stated that the modern way of life imposed itself on reality, as rapid change, technological and technical development ease of transportation and the communications revolution made nations live in a semi-small village close to neighborhoods, thus the necessity of holding the conference appears to benefit from the experiences of others and to discuss challenges in the field of protection.

Maha Mansour stated that the conference aims to present research, scientific studies and pioneering initiatives that will have an impact on developing  protection to contribute to providing a stable life for its members.

The Director of the Government Communications Department indicated that the Social Service Conference is one of the main annual events in the department's agenda, as it discusses issues in contact with our society, as the conference's logo is chosen from the daily realistic readings of officials and specialists in the departments and centers of the Department of Social Services.

She noted that the conference was held virtually during the past two editions due to the Corona pandemic and witnessed a large participation of more than 900 members, and this year it will be held on real life, and we expect a large participation.
