SDIA, SSSD discuss preparations for the last ten days of Ramadan

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Department of Islamic Affairs (SDIA), held a coordination meeting with the Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD), to discuss preparations and other issues related to serving worshippers during the last ten days of the holy month of Ramadan.
Abdullah Khalifa Al Sabousi, Head of the SDIA met with Afaf Ibrahim Al Marri, Head of the SSSD, and discussed ways of coordination and joint cooperation, and the provision of volunteers in the mosques of Sharjah during the last ten days of the holy month of Ramadan to provide a spiritual atmosphere for worshipers and to maintain their safety.

This meeting comes as part of the SDIA’s efforts to achieve cooperation with government institutions and departments, and to enhance the role of the Sharjah Volunteer Centre by offering a volunteering opportunity to the public in Sharjah’s mosques during the Tarawih and Tahajjud prayers in the last ten days of Ramadan.
