Sharjah24: Brigadier General Ahmed Haji Al Serkal, Director General of Police Operations at the Sharjah Police General Command, attended the conclusion of the Ramadan cultural competition entitled “Bright Minds 2022, in its ninth edition , in which 8 teams participated, representing the various centers, departments and branches of the Eastern Region Police Department.

The event was attended by Colonel Dr. Ali Muhammad Al-Ki Al-Hamoudi, Director of the Eastern Region Police Department, his deputy, Colonel Rashid Saif Al-Zaabi, heads of centers and departments, branch managers, and a number of officers and employees of the administration and participating teams. 

Brigadier General Ahmed Al-Sarkal stressed the importance of cultural competitions in raising the level of culture and knowledge of employees, and continuing to provide all aspects of knowledge in order to consolidate their intellectual aspects.

At the end of the competition, the Director General of Police Operations honoured  the team of the Criminal Investigation Department for obtaining the first place, and the support services team was honored for obtaining the second place in the competition.

Brigadier General Al-Sarkal honored Colonel Dr. Ali Al-Ki Al-Hamoudi for launching the cultural competition “Aqoul Bright” and for more than ten years. Colonel Al-Hamoudi presented a souvenir to His Excellency Brigadier General Ahmed Haji Al-Sarkal, Director General of Police Operations.
