Sharjah24: Colonel Mona Sorour Al Shuwaihi, Deputy Director of Punishment and Correctional Institution Department at Sharjah Police, received a delegation from Al Khalidiya Suburb Council, headed by His Excellency Khalfan Saeed Al Marri, Chairman of the Council, and his accompanying delegation.

At the beginning of the meeting, Colonel Mona Sorour welcomed the visiting delegation, praising the efforts undertaken by Al Khalidiya Suburb Council in strengthening community relations, which would be reflected on the individual and society as a whole, and on the full cooperation between the suburb and Sharjah Police in all fields, in a manner that enhances the quality of life and security for the UAE community. .

During the meeting, a number of topics of common interest were reviewed, which illustrate the depth of the partnership between the two sides, in addition to opening new horizons for this cooperation by putting forward a number of ideas and proposals that serve the public interest, the most prominent of which came from displaying the products of the families of inmates affiliated with the Sanad initiative through Exhibitions organized by Al Khalidiyah Council and using them to run inmates' families.

During the meeting, the administration of the Punishment and Correctional Institution Department was handed over a check in the amount of 100,000 dirhams from the administration of Al Khalidiyah Suburb Council, as a financial donation to support the inmates and their families during the holy month of Ramadan.
