Sharjah24: The Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club organized a cultural competition on Monday evening, under the slogan "Al Hamriyah Knowledge Race," with government entities' participation, at Al Hamriyah Suburb Council.

Eight teams participated in the competition. They competed in an atmosphere full of fun and sportsmanship, attended by Saif Obaid Al Shamsi, Chairman of Al Hamriyah District Council, and many residents.

Valuable prizes were distributed to the winners of the first three places, with 6000 dirhams.

Engineer Ali Al Muhairi, Board Member of Al Hamriya Club and Head of the Club's Cultural and Community Committee, stated that one of the bullet objectives of this competition is measuring society's cultural awareness and local institutions in Al Hamriyah region.

Al Muhairi stressed that among the competition's objectives is also how to increase cultural awareness through cultural programmes and workshops.
