Sharjah 24: Juma Obaid Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club, and Chairman of the Rationalisation Committee, honoured, Thursday, the winners among staff with the Rationalisation Stars Award for the month of March.

The honouring, attended by members of the board of directors and the club's rationalisation committee, is part of Al Hamriyah Club's initiatives in the field of rationalising water and electricity consumption.

Juma Obaid Al Shami said that Al Hamriyah organises a monthly honouring in support and appreciation of the individual achievements of employees, and to raise awareness of the importance of rationalising consumption.

He stressed that he encourages all club employees to adopt positive behaviours and follow a conscious and responsible lifestyle in the consumption of water and electricity.

Juma Obaid Al Shami pointed out that the Rationalisation Stars Award is one of the initiatives launched by the club according to specific criteria aimed at encouraging club employees and officials to self-monitor consumption in addition to spreading the spirit of competition among them to apply and innovate methods to reduce consumption and contribute to the sustainability of resources.
