Sharjah 24: Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club concluded, Monday, the Al Hamriyah Chess Championship, which was organised at the club’s headquarters on April 17-18.

Organised in cooperation with the Future Masters Chess Club, the tournament saw a large turnout of participants, amid honest competition and high sportsmanship.

Juma Al Shamsi, Chairman of Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club, said that organising this tournament aims to strengthen and develop mental abilities and increase intelligence rates.

The curtain came down on the Championship, on a special Ramadan evening, with the winners crowned by Juma Al Shamsi, in the presence of a large crowd of families of the participants.
