Sharjah24: Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club (MCSC) concluded its Ramadan tournament, the "Third Mleiha Chess Championship ‑ Blitz 2022 ", organised at the club’s headquarters, on Sunday, in cooperation with the Sharjah Cultural & Chess Club and under the supervision of the Sharjah Sports Council.

160 players from 25 countries, including more than 100 ranked international players, participated in the tournament.

Hamad Tamim Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee of the tournament, and Ali Hassan Al Ali, the main referee of the games, honored the winners, in whch Oliver Dimakiling came first, second Lordacescu Fiorel, third Alexander Zubarev, fourth Murtaza Ali, and fifth Erdogdu Mert.

The tournament's organizing committee had allocated special prizes for players under 10 and under 8 years old.

Al Ketbi pointed out that the tournament was organised according to continuous work within the club's strategy to organise many events to be of a global level, stressing that this international event will be organised annually.
