SC launches package of activities in 'Spring Camp'

Sharjah 24: Sharjah Children (SC) of Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators organised the “Spring Camp” activities, which were held from 28 to 31 of March, in the morning and evening periods.
The camp included many targeted activities and specialised courses, including a course on the French language, which aimed to enhance the participants' communication skills in the French language. 

As for the Programming course, children in the first stage were able to learn the basics of programming and design by controlling the robot, then adding sound effects, as well as using the skills of drawing letters and numbers using the robot. 

They were also trained on how to prepare healthy meals in an easy and quick way by following the correct instructions when using kitchen utensils, through the culinary arts course.

In the field of arts, the camp included many courses aimed at enhancing their creative values and artistic sense, such as basic skills in design, flower arrangement, and the different ways of gift-wrapping in a modern and innovative ways. 

They were also trained in the skill of using and forming different shapes from clay, fixing and decorating it, and adding artistic touches to produce works of art.

They also learned about the types of wood and the tools used in designing different models, which aimed to introduce participants to the ancient Emirati crafts, as well as educating them about the importance of preserving the environment. 

The children enjoyed many sports activities relevant to developing their health and physical fitness, and encouraging them to take on challenges and sports competitions.

It is worth noting that "Sharjah Children" seeks to discover children's skills through activities and events aimed at investing their spare time during the school holiday, developing their talents, as well as raising their awareness of the importance of enhancing their acquired skills and applying them in daily life.
