Sharjah 24: Dibba Al Hisn Municipality has completed all its preparations to receive the holy month of Ramadan, by intensifying inspection campaigns on various facilities, setting working hours for its service centres, and decorating the city in celebration of the coming of the blessed month.

In the details, His Excellency Talib Abdullah Al Yahyai, Director of Dibba Al Hisn Municipality, explained that the municipality has implemented its supervisory and awareness role on all food establishments and markets. In addition to intensifying visits and inspection campaigns, to ensure its compliance, regulation of the workflow, and the ensuring the adherence to preventive measures that the municipality circulated according to a set of announcements. 

His Excellency Al Yahyai added that the municipality has allocated teams from the municipality's Operations Department to conduct intensive inspection tours of men's barbershops and women's beauty salons, to ensure that they implement health requirements, and adhere to all precautionary measures through continuous sterilisation and general cleanliness of the facility and the cleanliness of the tools used and following all preventive measures.

The Director of Dibba Al Hisn Municipality stated also that the municipal butchery opens its doors from Saturday to Thursday from 8 am to 6 pm, and it works on Friday from 8 am to 11 am, and in the evening period it works from 2 pm to 6 pm, under medical supervision by veterinarians.

His Excellency maintained that the fish market operates during weekdays from 8 am until 9 pm, and the market for vegetables, fruits and birds in the city works during weekdays, from 8 am until 11 pm.

His Excellency Al Yahyai revealed that the municipality is making great efforts around the clock to sterilise the slaughterhouse and market areas, and the public must follow all precautionary measures, the most important of which are physical distancing, and the need to wear masks and gloves, in order to ensure the health and safety of the people of the city.

The Director of Dibba Al Hisn Municipality stressed that the municipality's website contains the "electronic reservation of slaughter" service, in order to preserve the general health and safety of the population, as citizens and residents of the city can access the site through the link www.dhmun.shj.ae, choosing the service, and then making a pre-booking for slaughter in an easy and flexible way.

Al Yahyai pointed out that the municipality's Engineering Services Department has decorated streets, roundabouts, public squares, parks and main intersections, in light of the coming of the holy month of Ramadan.

Dibba Al Hisn Municipality calls on the public to contact it at the call centre at 993 to report any observations and receive all inquiries around the clock.
