Sharjah24: Dibba Al Hisn Municipality revealed its annual report for the year 2021 showing its most prominent achievements in serving the residents of the city, as part of its constant keenness to provide the best services.

The report indicated that the Municipal Operations Department represented by the Food Control Department carried out 3,337 inspection tours of all establishments operating in the food sector in the city, such as restaurants and markets specialised in foodstuffs of all kinds and types.

The report indicated that the Municipal Operations Department, represented by the Health Control Department, carried out 1,502 inspection tours of various facilities operating in the city related to the department's work, during which it issued 86 warnings and 10 violations to facilities that do not adhere to health requirements.

The report indicated that the Municipality's Operations Department, represented by the Veterinary Services Department, carried out 2,810 inspection tours, during which 54 warnings were issued to facilities related to the department's work, such as butcheries, poultry and fish markets, and 19 violations were issued during 2021.

The report noted that the Municipal Operations Department, represented by the Environmental Control Department, carried out 822 inspection tours of various facilities in the city, in addition to issuing 11 new licenses during 2021. During the same period, 59 violations and warnings were issued to facilities that did not adhere to health requirements in order to preserve the health of residents in the city.

The report stated that the Department of Agriculture and Public Hygiene, represented by the Pest Control Department, carried out a large number of events and activities aimed at protecting the city's residents from health pests that they may be exposed to, as the department implemented a 3776 campaign to control insects inside homes and government facilities in the city.

His Excellency Talib Abdullah Al Yahyai, Director of Dibba Al Hisn City Municipality, said: "All municipal departments are constantly working to provide the best services to citizens and residents in the city, and are keen to carry out inspection and surprise tours of all shops and establishments operating in Dibba Al Hisn, in order to implement the requirements and instructions set by them. The municipality is in accordance with the latest and best international standards followed, stressing that the city, thanks to these efforts, has become a destination for all residents in light of the security, peace and prosperity that the city is witnessing under the banner of our wise leadership.
