Sharjah 24: In a statement to “Sharjah 24”, the photographer who photographed Hussein reading a book collected from litter, Rodrigues Mghames, said, "When I was leaving the office to go to the workshop, I was distracted by the sight of a young boy reading a book on the edge of a trash can.

I snapped a photo of him and posted it on my Instagram page." It wasn't until we sat down for lunch together that I realised how much the youngster loved reading and learning had it not been for the refugee conditions that kept him from going to school.”

He went on to say that even if other youngsters have it better than Hussein, they aren't as motivated to read and learn about scientific knowledge as he was.

He continued, "That is why we decided to take action and start a school for children in need like Hussein. He started his school in Beirut, and thanks to Xposure and The Big Heart Foundation (TBHF), Hussein was able to go back on the path to education.
