Sharjah 24: Her Excellency Hanan Rashid Al Jarwan, Vice Chairman of Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC), accompanied by members of the Council, participated in a number of community events that were held in the Emirate of Sharjah, as part of their keenness to enhance communication and integrate roles.

Al Jarwan commended the role of Sharjah events, as they provide an important platform for exchanging proposals and ideas, as well as receiving the public and contributing to achieving the quality of life in a way that meets the aspirations of the rational leadership.

Al Jarwan and the members of the Council, during their participation in the conclusion of the Al Bataeh 4th Folk, expressed their success and the remarkable attendance and distinguished events they achieved.

Among the members of the Council were Her Excellency Fatima Ali Al Muhairi, Her Excellency Aisha Muhammad Bukhatir, Her Excellency Sharifa Musa Al Mazmi and Her Excellency Afra Khadem bin Halis Al Ketbi.

Al Jarwan and the members of the Council visited the festival and toured the pavilions, and were introduced to the people and families present at the festival. SCC members learned about the festival role in supporting Emirati productive families, handicrafts and traditional industries to preserve the Emirati folklore.

Al Jarwan expressed her appreciation for all the initiatives implemented by the departments and institutions in order to highlight the authentic customs and traditions of the society and the legacy of the past, in addition to holding meetings and fora to strengthen family ties. She also thanked the Municipal Council of Al Bataeh and Al Bataeh Municipality and all participating parties to make this special event a success.
