SCC Committee discusses complaints submitted by citizens

Sharjah 24: The Legislative and Legal Committee, Appeals, Suggestions and Complaints of Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC), during the meeting held at the Council's headquarters, in the city of Sharjah, discussed ten complaints from a number of citizens and reviewed the merits of those complaints.
The meeting comes in the context of the committee’s work for the third regular session of the tenth legislative term, and assuming its role in considering the different complaints referred to the Consultative Council by the Chairman of the Council after completing all the necessary requirements for accepting and studying complaints.

The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Dr. Shaheen Ishaq Al Mazmi, Chairman of the Committee, and attended by His Excellency Abdullah Murad Mirza, Rapporteur of the Committee, His Excellency Muhammad Ali Jaber Al Hammadi, His Excellency Muhammad Saleh Al Ali, His Excellency Khalifa Mohammed Bughanim and His Excellency Dr. Ismail Al Buraimi. 

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Hanan Rashid Al Jarwan, Vice Chairman of the Council, along with Counselor Youssef Hassan Ali Ali, the council’s legal advisor, and Abdulaziz bin Khadim, deputy director of the Parliamentary and Legal Affairs Department.

The Committee discussed ten submitted complaints within the meeting, and took the appropriate decisions. The committee also reviewed five government departments’ responses to the Council on previous complaints, expressed opinion on those responses, and suggested to notify the owners of those complaints of the responses of government departments.
