Sharjah 24: Mohammed Abdullah bin Halis Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Al Batayeh Municipal Council, revealed that the Council launched a number of initiatives at the 4th Al Batayeh Folk Festival, which serve the people of the area, including providing temporary jobs during the festival, cultural programmes for children, and a volunteer day.

Speaking exclusively to "Sharjah 24", the Chairman of the Al Batayeh Municipal Council explained that the initiatives also aim to give the people of the area practical experience, and  many cultural initiatives, including the Poetry Oasis, and the Young Poet Competition, which was well welcomed by the children.
