Al Bataeh Folk Festival receives its visitors on January 6

Sharjah24: The Municipal Council and Al Bataeh Municipality organised a press conference to announce the 4th edition of the Al Bataeh Folk Festival, which will start on January 6 to January 27, with the participation of a number of local institutions and departments.
His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah bin Halis Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Al Bataeh Municipal Council, revealed the organisation of Al Bataeh Folk Festival in its fourth session, in partnership with the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Sharjah Media City "Shams".

He explained to "Sharjah 24": that the festival's goal is to support productive families in the region, and it will include many cultural and heritage events and activities.

His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director General of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, affirmed the Chamber's keenness to make the Al Bataeh Folk Festival in its fourth session a success, which comes within the activities of Sharjah Shopping Offers.

Al Awadi noted that the 4th edition will be distinguished by holding many cultural, heritage and sports activities and events, which attract a segment of society members.

His Excellency Abdullah Sultan bin Saluma Al Ketbi, Director of Al Bataeh Municipality, expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for his continuous support for sustainable development and the provision of the necessities of a decent life for families.

Al Ketbi stressed the municipality's keenness to implement all precautionary measures to preserve the health and safety of festival-goers, and the festival will open its doors from 4 pm to 10 pm, in Al Bataeh Public Park.

His Excellency Shehab Al Hammadi, Director of Sharjah Media City "Shams" indicated that Sharjah Media City "Shams" participated in the Creativity, Innovation and Arts wing in the activities of the Al Bataeh Folk Festival in its fourth session.

Al Hammadi pointed out the city's keenness to support all talents and creativity, and to consolidate a culture of creativity in the hearts of the people of the region.
