Sharjah24: Al Hamriyah Municipality continues its awareness-raising environmental initiative "Our Environment is Our Responsibility", which aims to raise awareness and guidance among visitors to Al Hamriyah city, and to promote environmental and social responsibility among visitors in wild areas, beaches, parks and public facilities, as well as reducing environmental erroneous practices among some of the visitors to vital areas.

Ammar Ali Al Muhairi, Director of the Legal Affairs Department in Al Hamriyah Municipality, pointed out that the Municipal Control and Inspection Department organised an awareness campaign entitled “Our Environment is Our Responsibility,” noting that the campaign included distributing environmental awareness leaflets to visitors to Al Hamriyah in the wilderness areas, the beach area, and park goers, which includes a package of educational information.
 
His Excellency Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality, said that the initiative "Our Environment is Our Responsibility" came within the framework of enhancing environmental awareness indicators for the visitors and visitors of the targeted vital areas, and the campaign seeks to reach the largest possible number of the public, especially those who are not committed to preserving the environment and public hygiene.
