Sharjah 24: Teams of Al Hamriyah Municipality started to drain accumulated water in the roundabouts and main roads, as a result of rains due to the atmospheric depression facing the UAE. Al Hamriyah Municipality mobilised all staff, in anticipation of any possible accidents during the coming hours.

Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality, confirmed the development of a rain emergency response plan, to avoid blockages on the roads or the fall of trees as a result of active winds, and to deal with emergency cases, according to a well defined mechanism
 
Al Shamsi pointed out that work will continue around the clock, especially at the entrances and exits of the area, and in the internal streets, to prevent the occurrence of water gatherings, to ensure the flow of traffic and the safety of pedestrians in Al Hamriyah.

Al Shamsi called on motorists to take precautions during rainfalls and to follow the rules of traffic during weather fluctuations.
