Sharjah24: Al Qasimia University (AQU) continued its celebrations of the fiftieth National Day of the establishment of the United Arab Emirates, where it organised a party in which the guests sang the glories and achievements of the union.

This came during the poetic and artistic meeting, which was organized at the university’s theater on Thursday, in the presence of His Excellency Prof. Awad Al-Khalaf, Acting President of Al Qasimia University, the Vice Presidents of the University, deans, directors of centers and members of the academic and administrative bodies.

Prof. Dr. Awwad Al-Khalaf indicated that the celebration of the 50th National Day by Al Qasimia University for the establishment of the State of the Union embodies decades of sacrifice and giving for the march of a homeland whose love has been entrenched in the hearts of everyone who trampled on its blessed land.

Also, during the ceremony, a documentary film was shown that sheds light on the heritage of the UAE and the vision of the citizens and residents of Al Qasimia University for the achievements of the present and the aspirations of the promising future, with its immortal memories in the hearts of everyone who lives on its land.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Awad Al-Khalaf honoured the guests of the meeting and praised their participation and their wonderful creations that reflect the originality and nobility of Emirati art and its ability to embody the country's achievements in its celebration of the fiftieth National Day.
