Sharjah 24: Sharjah Art Foundation (SAF), cooperating with the Istanbul Museum of Modern Art, organises the “Her Journey” programme.

As part of the Sharjah Film Platform 4 (SFP4), The programme presents 10 films by Turkish women directors on topics that mirror the disintegration, marriage pluralism, contradiction, and constant changes in the feminist society.

The stories of the films revolve around the diversity and intersection of identities by focusing on female characters who appear in a poignant and lively image despite the obvious historical and cultural pressures on them.

Along with the programme “Her Journey”, the “Contemporary Turkish Cinema through a Woman’s Lens” panel discussion will be held, bringing together four female directors who added new touches in the cinematic scene.
