Sharjah24: Al Kharous Suburb Council held its first meeting in preparation for starting its work and joining the chain of suburban councils operating in the Emirate of Sharjah and serving the people within its jurisdiction in the city of Al Dhaid in the Emirate of Sharjah.

The council, which was formed by Juma Abdullah Juma Al Mughni Al Hamoudi, Abdullah Muhammad Ibrahim Subaian Al Tunaji, Omar Ali Khamis Ali Al-Awani, Abdullah Muhammad Khamis Saeed Al-Riyami and Hassan Muhammad Abu Al-Dharous Al Dhahouri, was briefed on their roles in order to serve the citizens and play an active role in accordance with the terms of reference and objectives to enhance communication with the people and strengthening the role of the suburban council as a link between the community and the government.

Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director of Suburbs and Villages Affairs Department, was keen, during the meeting with the members of the Al Kharous Suburb Council, to clarify the aspects of the work of the District Council, its roles and the most prominent competencies within the framework of the visions and directives of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah.

Then, by agreement, Juma'a Abdullah Juma'a Al-Mughni Al-Hamoudi was chosen as Chairman of the Al Kharous Suburb Council, and Abdullah Muhammad Ibrahim Sba'an Al Taniji as Vice-Chairman.
