“Ma’rifat Namah” treasure of knowledge inside Manuscripts House

Sharjah24: "Sharjah 24" explores the treasures of the Islamic Manuscripts House at Al Qasimia University, which were gifted by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to the House, and their number exceeds 1,500 manuscripts. In 11 episodes, shown on Mondays and Thursdays of every week.
A rare manuscript written in the Othman language, which is considered a treasure in general knowledge in more than one topic, in: doctrine, medicine, astronomy, geography, and history, as explained by Said ElMaadawy, Director of the House, which indicates that this manuscript is also characterized by the presence of astronomical drawings, and maps colored with natural botanical, and gilded.

He pointed out that the manuscript is rare due to its rarity because it was written on more than one topic, in the Othman language, and its title is “Ma’rifat Namah” by its author, Al Arrudumi Ibrahim bin Darwishbin Othman, who died in 1195 AH, explaining that the manuscript was written in 1235 AH.
