A rare Othman Arabic lexicon decorates the Manuscripts House

Sharjah24: "Sharjah 24" explores the treasures of the Islamic Manuscripts House at Al Qasimia University, which were gifted by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to the House, and their number exceeds 1,500 manuscripts. In 11 episodes, shown on Mondays and Thursdays of every week.
A rare manuscript adorning the Islamic Manuscripts House at Al Qasimia University, written more than 5 centuries ago, was gifted to the house by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and Said ElMaadawy, Director of the House, explains that it was written in 925 AH.

ElMaadawy points out that the lexicon includes Arabic words and their synonyms in the Othman "old Turkish" language. The author was not identified, explaining, "The manuscript was written in black and red ink, and was distinguished by the large Arabic words, while the synonym was written in a small fine line."
