Sharjah 24: His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC), has highlighted the importance of the council's activities for group and individual games, stressing that it promotes the discovering of talents and competencies, contributing in enhancing the development of the joint efforts between the council and the clubs of the smiling emirate.

This came during his visit to Al-Bataeh Cultural and Sports Club on Sunday, August 15, on the sidelines of the training stages for Al-Bataeh and Mleiha players, and following up on the summer activity program for group and individual games in its first week to continue until September 27, 2021. The program includes basketball, handball, volleyball, table tennis and football, with the aim of discovering talents and maintaining the development of players and improving their capabilities.

His Excellency Al Hazami was received by His Excellency Hamad Salem bin Hamouda, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the club, in the presence of several dignitaries. 

Commenting on this, His Excellency stressed the council's keenness on the success of these events, enriching young people’s capabilities in clubs, and creating an atmosphere suitable for them to achieve excellence and creativity, in implementation of the visions and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah , and the follow-up of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council.

Al Hazami also expressed pleasure about the encouragement of the parents, emphasising the positive impacts of such encouragements to motivate their children to practice sports, contributing in achieving the desired goals.
