Sharjah24: Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) has opened registration for its new event " Aquathlon Al Hamriyah - Sharjah ", which will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021 in cooperation with Al Qudra Sports Services Company and a number of sponsors and supporters, targeting the participation of 200 of both genders.

This comes as part of the Council’s series of community sports activities to motivate the community to practice sports, activate the role of community sports, make sports an ideal way of life, and spread sports culture in the smiling emirate of all ages and nationalities, the registration is done via the link http://www.eevents.ae/shjaqua .

His Excellency Issa Hilal Al-Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, indicated that the "Al Hamriya Aquathlon" is being held in line with the council's activities, which aim to confirm the status of sport in the emirate, in implementation of the visions and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and His wife Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, and the follow-up of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council.

His Excellency called on all those interested and sports lovers in general and lovers of running and swimming to register and participate in the event, stressing that the large participations during the previous events contributed to the success of the events, translating the plans of the Council in motivating the community members to continue participating in the various events.
