Sharjah24: Al Dhaid Cultural & Sports Club, as part of its participation and support for the activities of the fifth edition of the Al Dhaid Date Festival (ADDF), launched a public competition that comes in line with the festival’s objectives in light of the great success achieved by the current season and wide participation and attendance by families and visitors.

Al Dhaid Club has launched the photography competition, being available for all the members of society, aiming to take a number of photographs that reflect the great public attendance of Al Dhaid Date Festival, through reflecting its various activities.

The competition, for which valuable prizes were awarded, reflects the various activities of Al Dhaid Date Festival , shedding light on the visitors’ creativity, especially those who are interested in such kind of competitions.

His Excellency Salem Mohammed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club, has expressed the Club’s pleasure to participate in the Al Dhaid Date Festival, stressing on the significance of organising such great competition that highlights the importance of the festival. 

He pointed out that the Club will continue to receive the participants until the end of the festival days, adding that the winners will be announced on a special occasion.

Bin Huwaiden concluded that the Al Dhaid Date Festival is an important annual platform, highlighting the importance of the display platforms provided by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
