Sharjah 24: A successful community sports campaign carried out by Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club, represented by the Cultural and Community Committee, dedicated to donate blood in cooperation with the Sharjah Blood Bank and Al Dhaid Hospital.

The campaign coincided with the occasion of the World Blood Donor Day, which was marked by the remarkable participation of donors ranging from players, employees and sons and daughters of the Al Dhaid region.

The Club’s blood donation campaign focused on disseminating a social message that enhances the Club’s presence as a community sports institution playing a role in raising awareness of players and board members to support humanitarian initiatives, including blood donation. The campaign stems from the Club's keenness to fulfill a humanitarian duty to donate blood and save lives.

His Excellency Khalifa Sultan Al Jariqi, Secretary General, and Dr. Hammoud Khalaf Salem Al-Anzi, Executive Director of Al Dhaid Club headed the players and the community members who contributed to the success of the campaign and its goals, taking into account the precautionary measures.

His Excellency Khalifa Mubarak bin Dalmouk Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Cultural and Community Development Committee at Al Dhaid Club, praised the Campaign importance and success, stressing that the Campaign comes within the framework of community activities and aims to support humanitarian activities in the UAE and deepen the spirit of responsibility in the hearts of people.

At the conclusion of the blood donation campaign, His Excellency Khalifa Sultan Al Jariqi, Secretary General, extended his thanks to Al Dhaid Hospital and Sharjah Blood Bank for their cooperation and contribution to the success of the Campaign.
