Al Qasimia University acquires institutional license renewal

Sharjah 24: Al Qasimia University acquired the renewal of its institutional license from the UAE Ministry of Education as a leading educational institution in higher education.
Al Qasimia University acquired the renewal subsequent to the Ministry’s decision allowing the University to maintain its progress, to raise its profile and strengthen its position, in the international arena, within the framework of its scientific renaissance, under the wise guidance of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah and president of Al Qasimia University.

His Excellency Prof. Awad Hussain Al Khalaf, Acting Director of Al Qasimia University, confirmed that Al Qasimia University will remain, under the guidance, support and patronage of His Highness, a civilised educational project, located in Sharjah with a global message guided by His Highness’ wise vision towards development and modernization, with His Highness’s continuous support to expand the horisons and tools of scientific research, which carries the moderate message and tolerance of Islam.

His Excellency highlighted that His Highness' support has reinforced the essence of the vision set at the beginning of Al Qasimia University foundation in 2013, to enhance its orientations to be locate in Sharjah with a global message, which includes advanced sciences that keep pace with the learning movement to meet the modern-day requirements.

The institutional license renewal, followed a resolution based on the evaluation and approval of the Commission for Academic Accreditation at the Ministry of Education, to renew the University’s license. The university met all the requirements of institutional licensing standards, including having an integrated structure of governance controls, regulations, systems, policies, procedures, material and financial resources, educational programmes, as well as a selection of faculty members and employees committed to apply adequate quality assurance to accomplish the University mission.
