Sharjah 24: His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah issued Emiri Decree No. (7) of 2021 amending Emiri Decree No. (20) of 2019 regarding the restructuring of the Sharjah Urban Planning Council.

The decree stipulates that the Urban Planning Council in the Emirate of Sharjah will be restructured under the chairmanship of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council, and the membership of:

- Eng. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi, Vice Chairman, and Director of the Council.

- Eng. Khalid Butti Obaid Bin Butti Al Muhairi, Sharjah Planning and Survey Department.

- Saeed Sultan Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority.

- Engineer Ali Saeed bin Shaheen Al Suwaidi, Sharjah Directorate of Public Works.

- Engineer Yousef Saleh Al Suwaiji, Chairman of the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority.
