Sharjah24: In the presence of His Excellency Abdullah Mohammed Al Owais, Chairman of Sharjah Culture Department, the Al Hirah Literary Council organised, on Wednesday, poetry readings by the poet Ahmed Salem Al Shamsi and the poet Muhammad Al Naqbi, in the presence of several intellectuals.

For his part, the poet Al Shamsi expressed his thanks to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for his great interest in culture and intellectuals in general, and Nabati poetry in particular, in reviving and preserving the heritage of the ancestors.

In conclusion, His Excellency Abdullah Al Owais honoured the poet Ahmed Al Shamsi, the poet Muhammad Al Naqbi, and the journalist Saif Al Ketbi, by awarding them certificates of appreciation.
