Sharjah24 – Reuters: Using a small box connected to a drone, the Beit Ummar municipality is delivering medicine, vitamins and food supplements to patients fighting the novel coronavirus at home.
The drone hovers briefly over the roofs or balconies of patients' houses, with the project aiming to safeguard municipality employees and emergency response teams during the pandemic.

It is also easier to deliver medicine to those living in hard to reach places that are difficult to reach by car, Mayor of Beit Ummar, Nasri Sabarna, said.

Palestinian health officials announced 383 new cases of the coronavirus on Sunday (July 26) in the West Bank. The total number of infections in the Palestinian territories has reached 12,795 cases, including 78 deaths.
