The two inventors have gained international prizes for their inventions and distinction in the field of astronomy.
The Minister of State for Tolerance confirmed that the UAE had provided all avenues of support to excel academically, and to earn distinction and lead in a variety of fields. UAE citizens receive a great deal of care and interest from President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His
Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi clarified the importance in investing in success and achievement, while taking into consideration the necessity of finding a balance between science and life.
She said that this balance contributes towards enriching the scientific field on the one hand and the imagination and ideas of the inventor on the other. It also promotes a love of scientific research and reading, as well as enriching social communication, and the exchange of knowledge and experience between various individuals, the minister added.
The inventors expressed their joy at meeting Sheikha Lubna, and getting to know the minister better, learning of her education in the United States as a Computer Engineer, and her path towards excellence through constant research into her specialty and other sciences.
They also expressed their passion towards achievement is in allegiance to the UAE, its leadership, government, and people. The inventors sincerest desire is to benefit humankind through the creation of inventions that ease the burden of people’s lives, and fulfil their needs more easily and comfortably. The inventors emphasised the grounded scientific and academic application of their research, particularly in the field of astronomy.
The meeting was attended by the inventors' father, Suleiman Mohammed Al Blouchi, Colonel Salem Al Muheiri, Acting Police Chief at Nad Al Sheba, and Nab Al Sheba Police Station Media Coordinator Samir Mahboub.
