Sharjah24: Dr. Raban Mohiualddin Mohammed Al Sayeh, Dean of the College of Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport (AASTMT), praised the efforts of the Government of Sharjah and its unlimited support for the project to establish the first branches of the Academy and the College in the UAE, specifically in Khorfakkan.
Dr. Sayeh said in a statement to “Sharjah 24”, on the sidelines of the reception of new students at the Faculty of Maritime Transport in Khorfakkan, that the college includes the departments of maritime navigation and marine engineering.

He pointed out that the college, a leading academic tributary, would graduate navigation officers and marine engineers qualified to work in maritime institutions, Dr. Sayeh added, that the college has a teaching and administrative staff at the highest level of scientific and practical experience.

The college is characterised by the latest means of education and training maritime laboratories, workshops and simulators.

He stressed that the various courses and programs of the College, internationally accredited by the European Union, the International Maritime Organization, and many of the institutions and centers of assessment, and the adoption of prestigious marine scientific degrees around the world.
