Sharjah 24 – Reuters: A new study says eating more fruits and vegetables will help curb the issue for those entering their 20s.

Participants, whose average age was 19, also had to have two to three servings of fruit. In the end, lead author Heather Francis say those with a healthier diet showed improvement over those who didn't change eating habits.

Francis, a neuropsychologist, adds that anti-inflammatory like cinnamon were also allowed. Simply cutting down processed food intake and increasing fruit, vegetable(s) and fish resulted in improvements in depression symptoms, Macquarie University's Heather Francis, via study.
