'Sharjah' earns Bahrain-UAE Handball Super Cup title

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Sports Cultural Club's handball team succeeded in achieving the first foreign handball title in the history of the club, after winning against Bahrain's Barbar team with a score of 27-26.
After the handball team success in Sharjah Sports Cultural Club at the local championships, over the past 3 seasons, the team managed to achieve the first foreign title in the history of the handball team for the club, winning against the Barbar Bahraini team with a score of 27-26, in a match that went on for an extra time, when both teams tied in regular time 24-24.

The handball team earned the Bahrain-UAE Handball Super Cup in its third edition, in the Bahraini capital, Manama, with the presence of top officials.

The Bahrain-UAE Handball Super Cup is a tournament that brings the two countries together, and this year’s cup timing coincided with the 48th National Day celebrations, and the Emirati handball representative won the cup for the first time, after two previous participations against the Bahraini team, Al Najma.
