KCFTD honours 90 high achieving athletes

Sharjah 24: Khorfakkan Club For The Disabled (KCFTD) held an honouring ceremony at the club’s new headquarters, on Monday, in recognition of the distinguished achievements of its players and coaches, including those who won medals at the 2nd West Asian Paralympic Games.
The honouring ceremony was attended by His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Secretary-General of the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC), Dr. Abdul Razzak Ahmed Bani Rashid, Chairman of the Board of Directors of (KCFTD), Mohammed Al Qawadi, Vice Chairman of (KCFTD), His Excellency Salem Mohammed Rashid Hassan Al Naqbi, Chairman of Board of Directors the Khorfakkan Sports and Cultural Club, and a number of top government officials in Khorfakkan.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of (KCFTD), delivered an opening speech during the ceremony, praising the continuous support of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to the club.

Dr. Abdul Razzak Ahmed Bani Rashid pointed out that the new headquarters of the club costs more than 40 million dirhams, and is undoubtedly a major addition to the club.

In turn, His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami praised the achievements of the players in the club in various sports, and expressed his pride for the accomplishments of winning a total of 21 medals at the 2nd West Asian Paralympic Games.

The ceremony included the honouring of 90 disabled players in various sports, and coaches from the club.
