Winners of Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed's 'Tent Pegging' honoured

Sharjah 24 – WAM: Winners of the 8th Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan Tent Pegging Championship were honoured Friday.
The two-day event was organised by the Emirates Heritage Club, under the patronage of Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President's Representative, and Chairman of the Club, at Boudheib International Endurance Village in Abu Dhabi.

Riders from the UAE, Bahrain, Germany, Morocco and UK competed in the championship.

One of the fastest growing Equestrian sport, tent pegging is one of the official equestrian disciplines officially recognised in the world. The internationally recognised sport is played in more than 30 countries, and is governed by the International Tent pegging Federation, ITPF.
