GCC race to launch on Saturday at SERC

Sharjah 24: The first edition of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) race will launch on Saturday at the Sharjah Equestrian & Racing Club (SERC) with strong participation of the Arabian horses.
The race’s prizes are worth AED 400 thousand, divided between AED 200,000 for the main event and AED 40,000 for the rest of the five games. The race will include 250 registered horses. 
The Sharjah Equestrian & Racing Club held a press conference on Monday at the club's headquarters, attended by Sheikh Abdullah bin Majid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club (SERC); Faisal Al Rahmani, chairman of the International Federation of Arabian Horse Racing “IFAHR”; Sultan Al Yahyai, General Manager of the SERC, and several other dignitaries.
