Sharjah 24 – Reuters: AC Milan defender Theo Hernandez scored at both ends and gave away a penalty as his side produced arguably their best performance of the season to win 3-2 at Bologna in a dramatic Serie A match on Sunday.
It was the first time this season that Milan had scored three goals in a game and also the first time they had won twice in a row since Stefano Pioli took over as coach in October.

Milan moved up to tenth place with 20 points, behind Torino on goal difference, although they are still nine off the Champions League spots. Bologna, whose coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has been undergoing treatment for leukaemia, are 12th with 16 points.

Milan went ahead in the 15th minute when Krzysztof Piatek went down in the area under minimal contact and converted the penalty himself to end a six-match goal drought.

Suso threaded a delightful ball through the Bologna defence for Hernandez to add a second goal in the 32nd minute although the Frenchman put through his own goal five minutes before the break when the ball bounced off him following a corner.

Giacomo Bonaventura restored Milan's two-goal lead with a curling shot straight after halftime but Milan had to cling on after Hernandez barged into Riccardo Orsolini and Nicola Sansone converted the penalty with six minutes left.
