Sharjah 24: Sharjah Media City (Shams) , a subsidiary of Sharjah Media City (Shams), announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Omnis Media, a company specialised in developing and managing digital media and marketing solutions, aiming to cooperate in developing and operating the Omnis Influencers digital platform on both local and global levels.
The platform will work to qualify a new generation of influencers on social media networks through accredited academic and professional programs to be provided by Sharjah Media City (Shams), contributing in training the influencers and specialists in several sectors to improve the marketing process. The Omnis Influencers platform will also include an open digital marketplace to introduce influencers, thus enhancing the direct relationship between influencers and various business sectors locally and internationally.

Commenting on this partnership, His Excellency Dr. Khalid Omar Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Media City (Shams) has highlighted the importance of the influencer marketing, stressing that it has become one of the most important modern marketing facilities that are witnessing remarkable growth year after year.

He has also underscored the country’s efforts in regulating the laws to practice this profession, emphasising the distinguished role of Shams in granting licenses to pursue this profession. He has further expressed his pleasure with the strategic partnership with Omnis Media, expressing their keenness to provide a helping hand to the new generation wishing to pursue this activity through providing academic programs and specialised training programs for current influencers who wish to develop their technical and professional skills.

Al Midfa added that Sharjah Media City will grant preferential rates to Omnis Influencers members who wish to obtain a license to practice influencer activity on social media, under current law in the UAE.

Al Midfa pointed out that Sharjah Media City (Shams) was established to be an incubator for innovation and creativity, and is keen to enhance the strategic plans and partnerships to support young talents and skills enhancement.

For his part, Fahed Aldeeb, CEO of OMNES Media has expressed his pleasure with the strategic partnership with Shams Media Services Company, stressing that the partnership will open the door for many young people to have equal opportunities in developing their skills and businesses within this growing sector.
