Sharjah 24: Coinciding with the International Youth Day, Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA) inaugurated the "Creativity Hall", with the aim of providing the appropriate innovative and creative environment for youth.
The "Creativity Hall" comes to encourage youth to express their ideas and visions in facing future challenges, as it focuses on youth issues with great attention of achieving the plans of sustainable development.

During the inauguration, SEWA honoured a number of young talents who participated with innovative ideas on various topics.

His Excellency Eng. Dr. Rashid Al Leem, Chairman of SEWA, highlighted that SEWA’s strategic plan aims to support young people, and offers them the opportunity to take part in leadership roles, translating the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to enable the youth, and allow them to participate in the development process by being vital decision makers in the Emirate.

In a statement on the occasion of International Youth Day, which falls on the 12th of August every year, Chairman of SEWA expressed that Emirati youth have proven their competence in various fields of work, maintaining that SEWA is abound with young people holding great expertise in many fields.

His Excellency concluded that SEWA’s youth council, established two years ago, is a platform that accomplished many achievements and raised many issues that contributed towards a bright future for youth.
