Sharjah 24: Rashid Al Hosani, deputy head of the commercial control section at the Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD), revealed that inspection teams have launched more than 51,000 field visits during the first half of 2020, with a daily average of 200 visits.
He said that the visits are conducted according to existing plans approved by the SEDD’s control section, adding, in an exclusive statement to “Sharjah 24”, that these field visits aim to ensure the safety of economic practices and to raise awareness among commercial establishments and customers about the importance of adhering to all preventive and precautionary measures issued by the competent authorities.

He called on the public to fully adhere to all decisions and procedures announced by the government and health authorities in order to maintain their safety and that of all members of society, and to call 8008000, or visit the department's website for any inquiries.

Al Hosani pointed out that the inspectors' visits covered various industrial, commercial and service sectors in all cities and regions of the Emirate of Sharjah in line with the comprehensive strategic plan drawn up by the SEDD.
