Sharjah 24: On this day 30 years ago, more than 190 countries all over the world signed a protocol in Montreal to preserve the Ozone Layer.
The Ozone Layer is a part of the atmosphere around the Earth. This Layer, is like any natural thing, depends on the balance of its chemical constituents, but considring of the human ambitions of using more chemical in all fields ,this led to the destruction of the  Ozone Layer.
The lecture dealt with the importance of the functions of the Ozone Layer, and how to protect the  surface of the earth from ultraviolet rays, which cause severe damage to humans, especially skin cancers.
