MOI honours SIA outstanding employees

Sharjah 24: The Ministry of Interior (MOI) honoured a number of officers of the Ports and Airports Department, at the Sharjah Police General Headquarters, for their quick response and dispatching of personal belongings to traveler from a sisterly Gulf state who had lost them while departing SIA heading for his country.

Brigadier General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi Commander in Chief of Sharjah police was present at the honouring ceremony.

Brigadier General Mohammed bin Dalmuj Al Dhahiri, Acting Secretary General of the Office of Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior said that the honouring is in recognition of Sharjah International Airport official’s quick response to a complaints  lodged to the complaint and opinions system at the Ministry of the Interior, by a traveler from a sisterly Gulf state who had lost some of his possessions while departing SIA heading for his country.

The Saudi tourist posted a video on social media network, thanking Sharjah police for their effort in finding his personal items and then sending them to his home in Saudi Arabia.

Brigadier General Al Dhahiri expressed gratitude to Sharjah Police, praising their dealings with the guests and visitors of the UAE.

The honourees expressed their pride in the honuor affirming their keenness to duly perform their duties to best serve the public and respond to their leadership’s directives.
