The installation of pressure valves is an implementation of the agreement Dr. Engineer Rashid Al Leem, Chairman of SEWA, signed with the company to cooperate in research and studies in the field of water network efficiency, and a translation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to attract the best world expertise and companies.
Eng. Al Leem said that the Authority is committed to implementing the directives of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, to develop the services it delivers to citizens to match their international counterparts and to apply the latest technology in water production and distribution in order to achieve SEWA’s 2020 Strategy aiming to achieve the emirate’s endeavour to become the city of rationalisation and achieve the target of rationalisation campaign by not less than 30%.
SEWA Chairman explained that the Authority is incessantly working with major companies, universities and research centres to enhance and strengthen the network of water transporting and distribution, improve the efficiency of the network in all areas of Sharjah, improve the quality and purity of water and continue to apply the best global technologies to increase the efficiency of water plants and networks.
He pointed out that SEWA has witnessed a great development over the past two years, adding that cooperation with world companies in the field returns with more benefits, and that installation of new water pressure control valves comes in line with SEWA’s plan and project to achieve sustainable development.
