Sharjah 24: Sharjah Municipality (SM) announced the discontinuation of dealing in cash currencies for all revenues and fines transactions starting from July 15. This comes as part of SM’s efforts to constantly update and develop its work system, and provide the best services to the public. Whereas, the safety system remains the same as previously used with Commercial Bank of Dubai.
Sharjah Municipality (SM) noted that there are many alternative methods for payments, including Tahseel card, which can be obtained and paid through the use of smartphone, as well as providing the option to pay using the Emirates ID card, or through credit and debit banking cards via POS or online, or through the global e-wallets or direct debit from the bank account.
