Sharjah 24: As part of its continued tours to various sectors in the emirate to see the precautionary measures adopted according to the instructions of government and health authorities, “Sharjah 24” accompanied the Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD) in its inspection to fitness centres following their re-opening after closure due to coronavirus epidemic.
The international coach Jassim Al Ali and the owner of the Olympia Fitness Centre confirmed that after the re-opening, they took all preventive and precautionary measures that government and health authorities instructed, by installing the self-sterilisation gate, thermal corridor and the smart portal that recognises players by the face without touching any surfaces, not to mention the social distancing and other related procedures.

He pointed out that the centre provides various sports training courses for children with consideration to all precautionary measures, stressing the importance of sports in strengthening people's immunity.

Al Ali praised the role of the SEDD in inspecting centres and clubs to ensure their implementation of the precautionary measures amid the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic.
