Al Hamriyah Municipality receives Eid with preventive measures

Sharjah24: Al Hamriyah Municipality receives the days of Eid Al Fitr with an integrated package of preventive measures aimed at preserving community health from the emerging Corona pandemic, after it mobilised the efforts of its human cadres and the plans of its departments to achieve the direction of rational leadership.
Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality congratulated the leadership and people of the UAE on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr, stressing that the municipality was and is still working according to its plan to secure Al Hamriyah region, by raising the level of supervision and inspection campaigns, as well as ensuring the integration of various elements to implement safety mechanisms in all dealing with the audience.

Al Shamsi pointed out that those drawn plans are integrated regarding strengthening preventive and precautionary measures in light of the current circumstances, to include inspection plans and visits to all food service facilities, cafeterias, societies and barber salons in the region.

Al Shamsi stressed that the most prominent public health and safety efforts that the municipality’s specialised teams worked on during the holy month of Ramadan were the completion of 62 inspection visits and the release of 1 health violation, in addition to temporarily stopping the activity of a facility that is not committed to the application of health requirements.

The Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality pointed out the importance of focusing the municipal teams during Eid Al Fitr on educational campaigns related to adherence to health regulations and requirements in order to limit the spread of the new Coronavirus.

He explained that the municipality is committed daily to the work of its specialised teams within the National Disinfection Programme, to intensify its comprehensive efforts and campaigns in the region, and to continue to strengthen its precautionary measures to prevent the spread of infection.

Al Shamsi called on all members of society, citizens and residents, to avoid gatherings, to keep a safe distance, in addition to avoiding exchanging visits during the Eid period, and to ensure that physical distance is achieved to preserve the safety and health of all and limit the spread of the epidemic.
